The Black Album is the eighth album from rappers Jay-z and was suppose to be his last. This album debuted at No. 1 selling 463,000 copies in its first week. Brooklyn born rapper Jay-z is no stranger on the mic and his track record proves just that. At this point we already know what Jay-z is capable of spittin so now he was really competing with his past work. The Black Album showcased Jay-z skills on the mic from lyrics, flows and story telling . This album features other artist such as Pharrell and instrumentals from Timbaland and Just Blaze . I give Jay-z's "The Black Album" 4.5/5 Mics.
